Zojirushi CV-DSC40 Review

August 30th, 2010 by

The Zojirushi company are a famous Japanese electronics manufacturer. The are best known for their top quality rice cookers. They make a range of other kitchen appliances as well. In Japan hot water dispensers are common. They are starting to catch on in Canada and the United States now too. In this Zojirushi CV-DSC40 review I want to discuss one of the top of the range models.

The full name of this device is the Zojirushi CV-DSC40 VE Hybrid Water Boiler and Warmer. “VE” stands for Vacuum Electric. This is an advanced design feature that ensures that the water inside will stay hot but with minimal electricity usage. The exterior body of this attractive kitchen appliance is made of stainless steel. This makes it both easy to clean and stylish enough to fit any type of kitchen design.

It is kind of like a futuristic kettle. Not only does it boil water but it also keeps it warm so that at a push of a button you can have hot water at any time of day. This is great for tea, coffee, soups or any other hot water needs you may have. There are three different temperature settings. So it depends upon exactly how hot you like your water. Of course some teas can become damaged and bitter if you add water that is too close to boiling.

The CV-DSC40 can hold up to 4 liters of water. It is a convenient appliance that can actually be of great use to a wide range of people. Anyone who has trouble filling and pouring a kettle may be better off with this style of water boiler. You can use a jug to add water or even just a mug. Then when you want to get hot water, you do not have to lift the machine up. You simply press a button on the top.

You can find quite a few different Zojirushi hot water boilers on Amazon who have the lowest prices for these sorts of appliances. Like their top quality rice cookers, these water boilers also make use of Micom technology.
