In addition to this it also features their Induction Heating system. If you buy a Zojirushi NP-HBC10 you also get this feature. But in addition to this, the NP-HTC10 also cooks with pressure. This is what you are paying the extra money for. The NP-HBC10 costs $100 less but does not have this pressure cooking function. But if you have five people in your family it may be a better idea to consider the NP-HBC10 which is the 5 1/2 cup version of the NP-GBC05. The features are identical. The only difference is the capacity of the units.
